sweet babies, snow, scallops, and strings...

So, the sweet baby part, that's her up there! My second niece is named Toby Grace. She was born sometime recently, had a specific weight (over 9lbs, if I remember right!), wears clothes, sleeps a lot, and is so stinkin cute. My first niece makes for an awesome big sister. I wish I had more info, but I'm lame, and too many things happen in life. All you need know is that she is a dollface and she loves Uncle Jon more than anyone (especially more than aunt erin....boo!)

I had no picture for either snow or scallops, so I figured that before I told you what those were, I'd treat you to a picture of a chubby guy and a hot girl. The pic is me and Erin at my school's Centennial extravaganza! (great mini lamb chops!). So, for the snow....Pittsburgh was cold! I arrived for my ortho interview, and it was a balmy 19 degrees. Long story short, many mullets, fantastic program, and a great trip. I liked the place........especially the french onion soup at my hotel! I know, I like food. Now for the scallops........dang, food again! USC interview came a week later. Now to make that story short too.....ghetto place, great program, great people, and scallops wrapped in bacon! I really did treat myself to quite a few of those bad boys. Good story from there? I had forgotten my belt early that morning, and one group of interviewers asked at the start if I was nervous, and I replied: "Boys, I'm not even wearing a belt, how nervous can I be?!" I don't know how, but I tend to remain calm and be myself through this crazy time. Fun stuff.

The strings? Just happened tonight. I came across this video of a guy named Andy Mckee. Unbelievable. I'll post the link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ddn4MGaS3N4 . This guy plays the guitar, and it just makes you want to smile and rock an air guitar. So relaxing. Anyhow, what's new for Erin and I? Well, we have to move, so be praying that we can find a place.....within the next two weeks. Erin is still teaching, Christmas approaches, Erin's mom and step dad come in soon permanently from Indy, and I'm just taking an elective in anatomy with some friends.
